Herself the Elf originally started out as a drawing on greetings cards in 1982. Like Strawberry Shortcake, the Care Bears, and other toy lines inspired by greeting card illustrations, the elves soon appeared as dolls, toys, and in an animated TV special. Herself and her friends, Meadow Morn, Woodpink, Snowdrop, and Willow Song, each came with a hair accessory, pixie comb, wand, and a piece of jewelry. Continue reading
The Berry Happy Home dollhouse came out in 1983 and was a place where Strawberry Shortcake and her friends could live and play. It had six charming rooms and lots of intricate details.
The furniture for each room was sold separately and was incredibly detailed, with lots of moving parts for realistic play and strawberry and plant-themed motifs in every piece.

This craft idea is a fun, cheap, and easy project, and the end result is a realistic-looking cake. The idea can be scaled to any size – even life-size cakes – just by using a different size of styrofoam ball. You can decorate the cake with frosting and sprinkles, or leave it plain.
