Custom Blythe Tiger Lily

After a long time of working on and off on this project, I finally finished customizing my first Blythe doll. Her coloring is orange and green with brown freckles, so I’ve named her Tiger Lily (or Lily for short) after the flower. Continue reading


Piercing  a Pullip doll's ears with a miniature hand drill

After a not-so-great experience using the hot-pin method to pierce my doll’s ears (melted plastic and black soot), I decided to try drilling them with a miniature hand drill instead. It leaves a perfect hole with no jagged edges, very clean and uniform. This will work on any type of doll – Blythe, Middie Blythe, Pullip, American Girl dolls, etc. Continue reading


Since posting last week about BlytheCon Seattle’s Journey to the Emerald City theme, I wanted to share some pictures of the Wizard of Oz themed costumes I made for my dolls to wear to the event.

From left to right, we have Furry Bella Bo in her Cowardly Lion hat (from her stock outfit), Glinda the Good Witch, The Tin Man/Girl, Dorothy, and last but certainly not least, Middie as a Lollipop Kid.

I just discovered Blythe dolls a few months ago and had planned on doing blog posts on individual dolls, but I got busy preparing goodie bag donations for BlytheCon 2014, which just happened to be close by this year in Seattle.

I had made 350 little items to donate, which included food items, jewelry, accessories, and a few outfit pieces. I also made some Wizard of Oz Blythe doll costumes for my dolls to wear, since this year’s theme was “Journey to the Emerald City.”
